Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, policy compliance scans, and web application scans.
- Evaluate product and system security by identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities.
- Monitor published vulnerabilities and security advisories and alert relevant teams about potential impacts.
- Deploy cybersecurity tools and practices and provide training and guidance to users.
- Participate in incident response, initial analysis, and vulnerability remediation workflows.
- Provide internal training and documentation on cybersecurity, vulnerability management processes, and tools.
- Collaborate with program managers, product development teams, and regional cybersecurity managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
- At least 4 years of experience in vulnerability assessment, vulnerability management, and application security.
- Proficiency with Qualys, Kali Linux, Nessus, Burp Suite, and comparable security tools.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, Windows, UNIX, firewalls, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Familiarity with Java, C, Python, and Shell scripting or programming.
- Mandatory CEH or equivalent penetration-testing certification.
- Preferred certifications include ISA 62443, OSCP, GICSP, CISSP, GSEC, ECSA, CISM, and CompTIA PenTest+.
- Experience with static analysis tools, software composition analysis tools, and configuration reviews.
- Understanding of ISO 2700X, ISA 62443, and NIST standards and regulations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a complex, matrixed environment.
