Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale systems and services for Cantina’s AI-powered platform.
- Build and enhance systems supporting user acquisition, onboarding, and engagement.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data specialists to deliver performant and maintainable features.
- Experiment with and implement technologies that optimize user journeys and customer experiences.
- Contribute to team processes and technical infrastructure to improve scalability and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience with backend and cloud architecture expertise.
- Proficiency in Golang, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3.
- Understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with third-party services such as Segment, Branch.io, or similar marketing tools.
- Experience with growth-focused projects optimizing user acquisition and retention.
- Strong communication and collaborative team-working skills.
