Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support the ICE Trading Platform trading engine.
- Develop and maintain application systems and framework infrastructure for an electronic commodities and futures exchange.
- Follow team guidelines and company software development processes for application design and development.
- Independently handle project activities related to builds and deployments.
- Create design documentation for new software development.
- Support production applications and deployments during maintenance windows.
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product management, project managers, developers, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of C++ development experience.
- Strong understanding of modern C++ and STL, through C++11.
- Experience developing multithreaded applications and low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred: experience with C++14, C++17, Valgrind, CMake, Ruby, Conan, Jenkins, Python, Groovy, and rpm.
- Preferred: experience with equity and commodity derivatives or financial services/FinTech.
