Responsibilities

Develop, design, document, validate, unit test, and support software applications and components for Smart Grid solutions.
Serve as technical lead for larger projects and establish technical direction while monitoring project metrics.
Create functional requirements, detailed designs, code, test procedures, estimates, and technical specifications.
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards, best practices, and high-quality output.
Troubleshoot and resolve sustaining issues and identify opportunities for technical and product improvement.
Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, R&D, architecture, cloud infrastructure, SMEs, business partners, and cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior developers and engineers, participate in recruiting, provide feedback, and support training and knowledge sharing.
Lead component and solution design, development, documentation, validation, and functional-area continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6–10 years of extensive software development experience.
Expertise with .NET Core, Helm, and C#.
Strong knowledge of SOAP Web Services, REST APIs, and TCP/IP.
Experience with Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, RKE2, and Kafka messaging.
Experience with database scripting using PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Experience with agile or iterative software design processes and relevant development or validation methodologies.
Demonstrated technical leadership, advanced design and development skills, project leadership, communication, critical thinking, and mentoring abilities.
Experience with electric, gas, or water meters; IoT devices; LwM2M, LTE, DLMS, ANSI, Wi-SUN, AMI, or Smart Grid systems is a plus.
