Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and optimise robust, scalable cloud-native full-stack solutions for Consumer Cards.
- Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise while shaping long-term engineering strategy and platform architecture.
- Develop modern front-end experiences and back-end services using Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, .NET, C#, and AWS.
- Influence microservices, event-driven integrations, API design, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Champion engineering standards, high-quality delivery, CI/CD, test automation, observability, DevSecOps, and production support.
- Mentor engineers and contractors and grow engineering capability across squads.
- Apply AI-assisted development, emerging agentic patterns, and AI tooling to improve developer productivity and system design.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Next.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with C#, .NET, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and REST APIs.
- Experience with GraphQL, OpenAPI, API versioning, contract-first design, and API design patterns.
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, and RDS, plus microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience with integration, contract, non-functional, API, and automated testing, including Playwright or comparable test automation frameworks.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code, vulnerability management and remediation, and secrets management.
- Experience with CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, metrics, logging, alerting, and production support.
- Exposure to LLMs, prompt and context engineering, AI coding assistants, MCP, RAG fundamentals, agentic AI concepts, and agent orchestration.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, influence strategy, mentor others, and remain deeply hands-on.
