Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered experiences for large healthcare organizations
- Create and maintain backend services built on machine learning to solve customer problems
- Design, build, and maintain shared APIs, tools, services, and applications
- Contribute to platform architecture through design discussions, planning sessions, and code reviews
- Partner with product, design, and machine learning teams
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development or machine learning
- Professional software engineering experience in Python
- Proven experience with SaaS products
- Experience building consumer applications on top of machine learning pipelines
- Familiarity with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Postgres
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of system design principles
- Experience with healthcare data exchange using FHIR, HL7, or EDI is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills
