Responsibilities
- Own product areas from broad business goals through discovery, design, implementation, testing, and iteration.
- Translate ambiguous objectives into user workflows, product requirements, technical plans, and implementation steps.
- Design and build polished SaaS workflows including dashboards, tables, filters, forms, configuration experiences, and application states.
- Make architecture decisions across data models, APIs, frontend and backend design, permissions, integrations, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, test creation, documentation, and architectural exploration.
- Review, validate, debug, and test AI-generated code for production quality.
- Communicate requirements, architecture, tradeoffs, status, risks, blockers, and decisions clearly.
- Work independently while collaborating with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Senior-level engineering experience designing, building, validating, and improving production software.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to understand users, workflows, pain points, business outcomes, and success criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and make progress without highly detailed tickets.
- Advanced fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar environments.
- Ability to orchestrate AI tools effectively and identify hallucinations, flawed logic, architectural gaps, and quality issues in generated output.
- Strong technical judgment across SaaS architecture, data modeling, API design, frontend and backend design, permissions, integrations, scalability, error handling, maintainability, and security.
- Solid understanding of modern SaaS UX patterns and ability to build intuitive, polished interfaces.
- Excellent written communication and ownership mindset.
- Experience defining product workflows, screens, data models, permissions, user actions, edge cases, and implementation approaches from vague goals.
- Ability to evaluate MVP scope, future scale, usability, performance, security, and maintainability tradeoffs.
