Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Facilitate alignment across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
- Lead recommendation-system design and implementation, optimize ML infrastructure, and guide model architecture development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of software development experience.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products and three years of software design and architecture experience.
- Five years of experience building and deploying production recommendation-system models, including retrieval, prediction, ranking, and embedding, across different modeling domains.
- Five years of experience with ML design and infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: three years of technical leadership leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: three years of experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
