Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design, development, and operation of high-throughput data-processing services between edge devices and the Everpure cloud platform.
- Partner with Product Managers to translate complex requirements into scalable and resilient system architecture.
- Improve system performance, security, and cost efficiency for real-time data flows.
- Use testing, CI/CD, and automation to maintain high deployment velocity and stability.
- Lead resolution of interoperability challenges between new and legacy components to support high availability across regions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience architecting, building, and testing components in large-scale distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for high-performance, secure, and maintainable backend development.
- Strong understanding of distributed-systems principles, Linux environments, and basic networking.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Kubernetes.
- Collaborative communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Preferred: deep networking knowledge, including IP addressing, routing, VLANs, and VM networking.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with VMware, vCenter, ESXi, or AWS networking infrastructure.
