Responsibilities
- Deploy complex optimization algorithms and AI features, including large language model integrations and custom AI gateways, into production.
- Optimize platform performance and scalability, simplify code, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Test, profile, bench-test, and tune mathematical and AI models and maintain algorithm testing.
- Develop and maintain systems that capture application, algorithm, and performance usage data securely.
- Provide technical mentorship, establish code review standards and best practices, and lead design sessions.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Support customer environments and collaborate globally on planning and deploying product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of industry experience developing web applications or platforms, including 1–2 years acting as a pod or technical lead.
- Experience deploying production AI and/or optimization models in commercial environments.
- Strong proficiency with .NET Core/.NET 8+, Python, C#, Groovy, and Java.
- Knowledge of computational complexity, advanced data structures, and algorithmic design.
- Ability to explain complex engineering principles to product and business leaders and mentor engineers.
- Ability to make technical decisions with minimal direction and guide a globally distributed team in an agile environment.
- Preferred experience with supply chain network design, large language models, mathematical MIP/MILP and AI/ML models, Gurobi or other commercial mathematical solvers, cloud-native microservices, large-scale relational and NoSQL databases, and enterprise message brokers.
