Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software solutions for MES and non-MES applications.
- Modify systems to correct errors, improve performance, and implement updates.
- Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS packages.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, system documentation, and reports.
- Analyze business processes and system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, extended support, troubleshooting, and after-hours on-call coverage for MES applications.
- Implement enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams and cross-functional departments across multiple countries.
- Gather requirements from system users and provide training or assistance.
- Participate in team projects and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with the .NET framework, C#, and VB.NET.
- At least 2 years of experience with T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS.
- Proficiency with .NET, C#, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and high reliability for 24/7 application support.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of .NET development experience, 5+ years of C# and VB.NET programming experience, and 3+ years of advanced T-SQL experience.
- Familiarity with ActiveMQ, MSMQ, XML, JSON, terminal services configuration, Visual Studio, Windows Services, ASP.NET MVC, RESTful APIs, WPF, JIRA, Angular, .NET 8.0, Python, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, best practices, and manufacturing IT environments.
- Fluent English communication and experience working with global teams are desired.
