Responsibilities
- Analyze complex Java software development tasks and requirements according to project specifications.
- Develop software requirements and interfaces for the KLS environment using Java, Spring Boot, and JBoss.
- Modernize legacy Java systems, migrate capabilities to cloud services, and develop insurance products for B2B and B2C sectors.
- Optimize platform processes through automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Write clean Java code and implement unit tests using JUnit.
- Collaborate with business teams, Solution Designers, and Product Owners in two-week agile sprints.
Requirements
- Around five years of professional experience in Java development, software design, and technical implementation.
- Excellent proficiency with Java 12–21, Spring Boot, JBoss, REST APIs, and JUnit or comparable unit-testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with modern technologies such as Kafka, Camunda, or Azure cloud services is preferred.
- Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ, JIRA, DBeaver, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Git workflows, and Docker is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English and comfort working in fully English-speaking environments.
- Interest in AI and machine-learning tools and their application to development workflows and business processes.
- Experience with group life insurance business is a plus.
