Responsibilities

  • Define and own the technical architecture for identity, audience intelligence, content affinity, personalization, forecasting, and other core ML systems.
  • Lead MLOps architecture covering feature stores, training pipelines, model serving, monitoring, retraining, experimentation, governance, and lifecycle standards.
  • Architect and deliver probabilistic identity resolution using entity resolution, embeddings, calibration, candidate blocking, and graph-based approaches.
  • Lead audience intelligence, recommendation, lookalike modeling, content segmentation, forecasting, and personalization initiatives.
  • Evaluate technologies and build/buy/partner approaches including graph ML, DCR-native modeling, agentic orchestration, and LLM-augmented pipelines.
  • Set ML engineering standards across Hyderabad and align with global engineering practices.
  • Mentor Senior and MLE 2 engineers and serve as the technical anchor for the Hyderabad team.
  • Partner with engineering management on roadmaps, headcount planning, capability development, architecture reviews, and cross-functional technical forums.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of industry experience in ML engineering, or 6+ years with a Ph.D., with demonstrated Staff-level scope and impact.
  • Mastery of data engineering, feature engineering, model development, MLOps, production monitoring, and the full ML lifecycle.
  • Deep expertise in Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/DLT, MLflow, Feature Store, Asset Bundles, and Genie Space configuration.
  • Strong AWS experience with SageMaker, S3, Lambda, and Glue, plus Snowflake expertise including DCR patterns, Snowpark, Cortex, and SQL optimization at scale.
  • Experience architecting production ML systems serving millions of users and influencing technical standards across teams.
  • Expertise with PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost or LightGBM, and scikit-learn, along with strong statistics and ML fundamentals.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for advocating technical solutions to engineering, science, product, and executive audiences.
  • Preferred experience includes identity resolution, audience modeling, recommendation or ranking, content understanding, Data Clean Rooms, real-time feature serving, low-latency inference, mixture-of-experts, graph neural networks, agentic AI frameworks, enterprise RAG, and relevant publications or conference presentations.
