Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable backend systems and APIs for Pika products.
- Build and maintain distributed systems in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP).
- Take ownership of backend features from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Develop systems for low-latency, real-time collaboration and messaging.
- Design backend features that integrate generative AI capabilities.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor engineers to elevate team standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, with 2+ years in senior roles.
- Deep expertise in building distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Demonstrated strength in designing reliable, scalable backend services.
- Track record of launching impactful backend features that meet business needs.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex projects and deliver solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
