Responsibilities
- Build, test, and ship resilient production-grade software incorporating machine learning model inference.
- Bridge complex data pipelines with user-facing software and services.
- Contribute to system architecture and solve complex engineering problems.
- Develop software using Python, PostgreSQL, FastAPI, GraphQL, and AWS services.
- Consider end-user experience and the real-world value of delivered software.
Requirements
- Advanced Python skills.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, FastAPI, and GraphQL.
- Experience with AWS, particularly S3, Bedrock, Athena, and Lambda; strong experience with these services is a major plus.
- Strong software development background, ideally including full-stack and cloud development.
- Ability to build, test, and ship resilient software rather than working exclusively in data-science notebooks.
- User empathy, an engineering mindset, and an ability to address complex architectural problems.
