Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance web applications with Laravel and Vue.js.
Build responsive interfaces for profile management, chat functionality, and meeting scheduling across desktop and mobile devices.
Implement real-time messaging and event-driven functionality using WebSockets and related systems.
Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, troubleshoot development issues, and deliver scalable solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive code documentation.
Optimize, refactor, and re-implement legacy applications to maintain product quality.
Build and consume APIs, integrate third-party services, and optimize database queries.

5+ years of proven experience with Object-Oriented PHP and strong Laravel knowledge.
3+ years of experience with Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with WebSockets, real-time messaging systems, and event-driven architecture.
Practical experience with Redis for caching, session management, and pub/sub patterns.
Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimization.
Experience with Git workflows and collaborative development practices.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements, with strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred experience includes recommendation algorithms, matching systems, social networking, dating or social platforms, professional networking tools, event management or booking systems, Stripe or PayPal integrations, GDPR compliance, Docker, deployment automation, PHPUnit, Jest, or Cypress.
