Responsibilities
- Define and implement cloud security architecture frameworks and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize security initiatives.
- Partner with architects and engineers to design scalable security solutions.
- Build proof of concept tools to address security issues at scale.
- Conduct architecture reviews and security assessments of cloud services.
- Establish secure reference architectures and best practices for cloud deployments.
- Lead strategic planning for cloud security capabilities and tools.
- Work with incident response teams to manage cloud security incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 15+ years of experience in securing complex on-prem or cloud deployments.
- Minimum of 6+ years in cloud security architecture and design.
- Deep understanding of core cloud service models on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Proficiency in a programming or scripting language like Python, Go, or Java.
- Extensive experience with containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines.
- 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) deployments.
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
