Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, deploy, and support Python-based AI and data science applications.
- Establish methods for rapidly delivering data analysis capabilities for data-driven products and services.
- Lead architecture and technical design discussions for data science solutions.
- Analyze unstructured text using machine learning, NLP, and other advanced data science techniques.
- Continuously improve models through experimentation and optimization.
- Create reusable data science packages and APIs for organizational use.
- Evaluate and compare generative AI techniques, improving response accuracy and helpfulness while implementing observability.
- Deploy scalable applications to cloud platforms and remain accountable for their stability and adoption.
- Evangelize emerging AI and data science technologies and mentor team members on technical and professional practices.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in algorithms and statistics, including data mining, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering or Data Science.
- Experience with machine learning models and techniques including NLP, BERT, Transformers, and deep learning.
- Experience using LLMs such as OpenAI, Cohere, Anthropic, and Llama to deliver business outcomes.
- Experience with GenAI evaluation frameworks, accuracy and helpfulness measurement, and observability.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG, embedding models, and vector databases.
- Demonstrated ability to provision packages and APIs for production data science code in short development cycles.
- Experience deploying applications to Azure or AWS.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder presentation skills.
