Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible, and scalable solutions that embed Xometry AI into external PLM environments.
- Re-architect Xometry core application services to operate natively within the Siemens ecosystem.
- Lead the Siemens-Xometry integration strategy and execution across multiple STO teams.
- Establish engineering patterns, reliability standards, security standards, and enterprise SLIs/SLOs for deployments.
- Integrate production ML pipelines into the application layer and optimize model serving and real-time geometry analysis.
- Mentor engineers on effective use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Develop ring-fenced data governance approaches that keep part files within the Siemens ecosystem.
- Coordinate Xometry and Siemens engineering groups and facilitate durable, documented technical decisions.
- Guide senior leadership through technical risk and reward decisions and support cross-functional development across marketplace and data science teams.
- Ensure DFM and IQE AI engines deliver a differentiated Siemens partnership.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency with Python, AWS infrastructure, and React/NextJS.
- Experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing organizational engineering standards.
- Track record of securing endorsement for and delivering 6–12 month technical initiatives to production.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy and long-term technology investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or complex B2B integration hubs is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or CAD/PLM software, including NX, Teamcenter, or Solid Edge, is preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, and SOC2/ISO compliance in cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience architecting large-scale ML platforms or high-frequency marketplace engines is preferred.
