Responsibilities
- Design and develop databases for new services.
- Improve database parameters for current services.
- Evaluate and propose new technologies.
- Manage infrastructure projects.
- Lead teams as a team leader or assistant leader.
- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least five years of practical experience with RHEL or Solaris servers.
- At least five years of practical experience with Oracle databases.
- At least three years of project management experience.
- Basic knowledge of hardware and storage technologies.
- Basic knowledge of software and middleware technologies.
- Preferred experience designing systems with more than 100 servers.
- Preferred experience with file servers, web application design and implementation, web system development or operations, and financial services.
- Team leadership experience and the ability to consider entire systems beyond databases are preferred.
