Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, release, and support secure and scalable software solutions.
- Design and deliver Android application features using Kotlin, the Android SDK, and Jetpack libraries.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
- Partner with product, design, and backend teams to define APIs, integrate services, and deliver end-to-end mobile capabilities.
- Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI test coverage and support Android release stability.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to technical planning, estimation, iterative delivery, and broader team engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in Android application development, including design, development, testing, release, and production support.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Kotlin, Java, or other modern programming languages.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with services and APIs.
- Ability to create secure, high-quality production code aligned with secure coding, resiliency, privacy, and data-handling requirements.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile development practices.
