Responsibilities
- Own a product domain completely, including backend, frontend, database schema, and APIs.
- Make critical architectural decisions and trade-offs between speed and correctness.
- Build and ship features independently while collaborating with PM-builders and designers.
- Direct AI agents to architect and decompose problems for execution.
- Manage development across git worktrees and parallel agent sessions.
- Ship multiple deploys per day through an automated pipeline.
- Write and maintain high-quality tests as a core part of development.
- Review AI-generated and cross-functional pull requests.
- Set technical standards and define best practices for AI-assisted development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, preferably with Django and React.
- Strong proficiency with modern AI coding tools as part of the workflow.
- Experience owning a product or system that users depended on.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to propose better solutions.
- Experience writing comprehensive tests as a standard part of development.
- Strong code review skills and judgment in evaluating code quality.
