Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-throughput, low-latency communication infrastructure.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical initiatives.
- Build APIs and client libraries for internal teams and the creator community.
- Define technical direction and establish core primitives for your areas of ownership.
- Partner with Product, Design, QA, and engineering groups to deliver high-quality products.
- Own production reliability and participate in on-call duties.
- Mentor and level up engineers through code review and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in designing and operating distributed systems.
- Proficient in at least one server-side language (C#, Java, Go, C++).
- Ability to write clear technical specifications and reason about trade-offs.
- Experience driving projects from requirements through production.
- Proactive in shaping the product roadmap and outcomes.
