Base Salary
$196k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a new system to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation at the application and pod level in container environments.
- Understand and enhance container platforms including Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and GKE.
- Own and design critical features and subsystems, including detailed designs and peer design reviews.
- Implement scalable, stable, secure, elegant, and supportable software for enterprise infrastructure protection.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Collaborate with field teams and key customers to shape the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
- Proficiency in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience with large, distributed, and scalable software systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
