Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end technical architecture for secure-by-design AI Applications and Policy Set Manager systems.
- Orchestrate preventative and detective controls across organization policy, IAM Deny, principal access boundaries, VPC Service Controls, and AI application perimeters.
- Architect pre-deployment security assessments, policy simulation and dry-run evaluation, and automated drift detection and remediation pipelines across cloud environments.
- Shape the roadmap and detection architecture for control-plane threat detection and shadow AI discovery, including unregistered AI agents, MCP servers, and inference workloads.
- Serve as an organizational technical authority across control-plane, data-plane, compliance, threat, and agentic security surfaces.
- Lead high-level design reviews, resolve cross-organization architectural trade-offs, establish engineering standards, and mentor L5/L6 Tech Leads and executive engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 7 years of full-stack development experience across back-end Java, Python, Go, or C++ codebases and front-end JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience with design and architecture and with testing and launching software products.
- Preferred experience with cloud development and large-scale systems.
- Preferred prior Tech Lead or other engineering leadership experience.
- Strong software engineering and system design skills, with the ability to work across teams, influence senior managers, build relationships, and manage multiple complex priorities.
