Base Salary
$196k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services that process real-time events and network telemetry from multiple public clouds.
- Design, present, implement, deploy, and operate scalable distributed services and critical subsystems.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, deployment, customer usage, and operational support.
- Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL and other interfaces.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Ensure code quality through developer testing and functional and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and solve customer problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API/programming level.
- Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Experience delivering containerized services on Kubernetes is desired.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge is required; networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- Willingness to continuously learn, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
