Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices and Java-based full-stack commerce solutions.
- Guide end-to-end solution design across backend services and frontend integration.
- Define microservice decomposition standards, service contracts, and data flows.
- Review application designs and code implementations for architectural, security, and enterprise technology alignment.
- Translate commerce requirements into technical architectures with product owners and business stakeholders.
- Drive coding patterns, testing strategies, and observability practices that improve reliability and incident resolution.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and platform teams on deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and resource utilization.
- Evaluate Java ecosystem tools, frameworks, and patterns to improve developer productivity and reduce technology risk.
- Provide technical guidance and reference implementations for APIs, integrations, and commerce functionality.
- Analyze performance and error metrics, identify architectural bottlenecks, and support service optimization.
- Document architectural decisions, non-functional requirements, and integration patterns.
- Support test automation, monitoring alignment, incident analysis, and root-cause investigations.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices for high-volume transactions and complex enterprise business rules.
- Strong proficiency in Java-based full-stack engineering for commerce platforms, including backend services, integration patterns, and modern web application practices.
- Experience with API design, RESTful principles, and data modeling for distributed systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of testing frameworks, build tools, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, caching, and asynchronous processing techniques.
- Understanding of security practices, authentication mechanisms, and data protection strategies.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud-ready architecture.
