Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, configure, and maintain .NET-based enterprise application environments.
  • Troubleshoot application, platform, configuration, performance, authentication, integration, and service-dependency issues.
  • Perform user and role management, scheduled maintenance, patching, deployment coordination, release validation, and environment refreshes.
  • Analyze support tickets, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Monitor dashboards, logs, performance indicators, scheduled jobs, and alerting tools to identify issues proactively.
  • Support APIs, connectors, authentication flows, certificates, and backend service dependencies.
  • Make minor code or configuration changes and configure platform capabilities for small enhancements.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes while meeting SLAs.
  • Create and maintain administrative procedures, environment documentation, troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in .NET platform administration, application support, or maintenance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Framework or .NET Core, application pools, services, environment configuration, and IIS administration.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance, configuration, authentication, and service-dependency issues.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, web services, authentication tokens, and certificates.
  • Ability to perform basic debugging, log analysis, and triage for .NET applications and platform components.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for queries, data checks, and data-related troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and operational discipline.
  • Preferred: PowerShell scripting experience, exposure to Azure App Services, Azure Functions, or containers, and AZ-900, AZ-204, or vendor-specific administration certifications.

  • Base compensation is listed in the range of $44,951-$105,456 CAD.
