Responsibilities
- Develop business features and AI-enabled solutions for large user communities.
- Design and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications and Java-based systems.
- Apply AI-driven workflows across software development, testing, code review, documentation, and other SDLC activities.
- Review and approve pull requests while enforcing maintainability, security, quality, and consistency standards.
- Collaborate with requirements engineers, QA specialists, product owners, and application engineers.
- Create architecture diagrams and technical designs and contribute to technology and architecture decisions.
- Integrate messaging systems, BPMN workflows, logging frameworks, telemetry solutions, shared platforms, and AI platforms.
- Experiment with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments and translate relevant innovations into practical engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Java and Spring Boot with proven experience across the full software delivery lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating AI-enabled solutions into applications and enterprise systems.
- Practical experience using AI-driven development workflows and tools across the SDLC.
- Experience with Microsoft Foundry or Palantir Foundry for developing, integrating, or operating AI solutions.
- Previous public cloud experience, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to work comfortably and proficiently with large, established codebases.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, insurance domain concepts, and mentoring junior developers.
