Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure provisioning, operations, and lifecycle automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
- Improve infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code practices and help manage CI/CD, artifact management, and secrets management tooling.
- Contribute to the strategy, architecture, and adoption of an Internal Developer Platform that enables self-service infrastructure and automation.
- Build AI-powered automation solutions, agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines using internal and external data.
- Design reliable AI interactions using prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, and evaluation techniques, and integrate AI into enterprise workflows and platforms.
- Drive observability, SLO-based reliability, incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, runbook automation, postmortems, and preventive improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and implement secure automation using least privilege, Vault-based secrets management, AI guardrails, secure data handling, and enterprise controls.
- Mentor engineers, share best practices, and help establish standards for automation, platform engineering, and AI-enabled solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of active professional experience with Python focused on automation, backend development, and AI use cases.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Recent hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, AWX, or Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Recent project experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications using LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, vector databases, and modern orchestration frameworks.
- Linux administration experience including RHEL, scripting, and runtime configuration.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix and networking fundamentals including TLS, proxies, and load balancing.
- Understanding of identity, security, and reliability concepts including authentication and authorization standards, secrets management, high availability, disaster recovery, API integration, and database fundamentals.
- Ability to take ownership, collaborate effectively, simplify systems, mentor others, and contribute to a constructive engineering culture.
