Base Salary
$192k - $455k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build sophisticated React/TypeScript applications that operate smoothly at scale.
- Design real-time interfaces for complex cyber operation data with a focus on speed and clarity.
- Lead frontend technical architecture and design decisions.
- Build interactive visualization systems such as graphs, timelines, and streaming views.
- Establish reusable frontend architecture patterns and component libraries.
- Set engineering standards through code review, testing strategy, performance practices, and technical coaching.
- Mentor junior engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge transfer.
- Coordinate end-to-end feature delivery with design, product, backend, and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues, investigate frontend performance, and improve reliability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional frontend software development experience.
- Deep expertise building production React applications with TypeScript.
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience leading frontend technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
- Experience with performance at scale, including profiling, optimization, and rendering strategies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with state management patterns and libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
- Strong collaboration skills with product and design teams.
- Professional experience with Git, branch workflows, code review, and CI integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with complex data visualization, real-time streaming data, graph databases such as Neo4j, defense or security domains, AI/ML operational interfaces, or component libraries is preferred.
