Base Salary
$159k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable React and TypeScript features and interactive visualizations for real-time cyber operation data.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions while owning significant features from design review through production.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
- Identify and address performance issues, technical debt, and reliability gaps.
- Collaborate with backend, product, design, and operations teams to deliver integrated features.
- Support other engineers through pairing and practical feedback.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional frontend software development experience.
- Strong production-tested expertise in React.js and TypeScript, plus modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.
- Experience building and shipping high-performance features at scale, including profiling, optimization, and rendering strategies.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience with state management patterns or libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
- Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite or Webpack and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong professional Git experience, including branch workflows, code review, and CI integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective collaboration with product and design teams.
- Preferred experience with complex data visualization, graph databases or Neo4j, real-time streaming data, defense or security domains, AI/ML operational interfaces, or component libraries and design systems such as Storybook.
