Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and enhance Roku streaming applications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, manage delivery activities, and contribute to technical decisions.
- Integrate third-party player, analytics, and advertising SDKs.
- Debug and troubleshoot Roku applications and optimize performance on Roku devices.
- Implement video streaming, billing testing, certification, release, and deployment functionality.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience is required.
- The posting requests four to seven years of experience developing video streaming applications for Roku and at least 7.5 years of relevant Roku development experience.
- Experience with BrightScript, Scene Graph, XML, Roku debugging tools, Roku APIs, and Roku application development is required.
- Experience developing and customizing Scene Graph UI components is required.
- Experience integrating Player, Analytics, and Advertising SDKs is required.
- Knowledge of HLS, DASH, DRM, video encoding, RESTful services, JSON, HTML, and CSS is required or preferred.
- Experience with IAP and billing testing, Roku channel certification, publishing criteria, release procedures, and deployment is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
