Responsibilities
- Develop new services and enhance PayEdge client-facing applications within an Agile development team.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient front-end and back-end code using PHP, Angular, Java, and Spring technologies.
- Ensure code quality through automated unit and functional testing.
- Modernize and refactor legacy systems using current technologies and architectural best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while improving application stability and performance.
- Develop and optimize MySQL databases, including complex queries and stored procedures, while ensuring data integrity.
- Provide production performance debugging and primary operational support across services and stack levels.
- Automate development-pipeline processes and identify efficiency and continuous-delivery improvements.
- Participate in production support, including an off-hours on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience with PHP, Laravel, and SQL.
- At least five years of hands-on experience with Angular, Java, REST APIs, and Spring Framework technologies including MVC, Security, JPA, and Spring Boot.
- At least five years of experience with relational databases such as MySQL and MSSQL, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, ELK, and Kafka.
- At least five years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Vault, and security-scanning tools.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with strong problem-solving, clean-coding, scalability, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with architectural styles such as microservices and event-driven systems, React, modern front-end technologies, API integration, API gateways, JWT, OAuth, and SSL certificates is beneficial.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting distributed cloud applications using Azure AKS is beneficial.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and testing-automation tools is beneficial.
