Base Salary
$214k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer core services for the Aladdin Container Platform and scale cloud-native applications.
- Design and develop distributed systems and cloud computing infrastructure using Sybase, MSSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Manage edge routing, load balancing, security, web asset caching, networking, and containerization services.
- Support requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support across the software development lifecycle.
- Create developer environments and build tools, frameworks, languages, and core libraries.
- Build distributed compute components that retrieve, transform, load, and distribute complex reference data.
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant, highly available systems and contribute to the open API platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst, or related role.
- Five years of experience with Go, Java, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, Amazon AWS, Linux environments, shell scripting, ArgoCD, Flux, Sybase, and MSSQL.
- Five years of experience with software development principles, object-oriented programming, modular code design, code reviews, testing strategies, version control, maintainability, cloud-native concepts, containerization, microservices, declarative infrastructure, scalability, resilience, and automation.
- Four years of experience with networking, edge routing, DNS, ingress, network security, secrets management, PKI, certificate lifecycle automation, Vault, cert-manager, Kubernetes secrets, Helm, Kustomize, manifest management, Prometheus, Grafana, dashboards, alerting, and SLOs.
