Responsibilities
- Partner with domain experts and Allianz Operating Entities to understand problems and translate them into production AI solutions.
- Reuse and extend Minimum Viable Solutions and AI Building Blocks, and design and implement custom services, integrations, and agents.
- Build and ship solutions across backend, frontend, data/ML, and operations while owning the path from development to production.
- Set up CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code as needed, while ensuring security, compliance, reliability, testing, and observability.
- Document and operationalize solutions, scale reusable patterns, and contribute them to the central building-block catalogue.
- Collaborate with AI Engagement Managers and local or global IT teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production code across backend, frontend, data, and operations.
- Experience working in unfamiliar codebases, domains, and partner environments to identify issues and deliver solutions.
- Practical experience with cloud-native stacks, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, testing, observability, and secure coding in regulated settings.
- Working knowledge of Python, APIs, vector databases, LLM and agent frameworks, and modern data/AI technologies.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills, plus fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
