Base Salary
$165k - $228k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal software platforms for Upstart Bank.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs and data workflows connecting internal and third-party systems.
- Create relational data models and authorization frameworks for secure operations.
- Document technical designs and implementation plans to establish engineering patterns.
- Contribute to decisions on system architecture and platform scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in designing and operating production web applications.
- Proficiency in designing relational database schemas using PostgreSQL or similar.
- Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrations.
- Knowledge of application security fundamentals.
