Responsibilities
- Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases.
- Implement backend or full-stack functionality in production systems.
- Refactor and migrate existing systems.
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
- Write technical specifications and reference implementations.
- Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
- Validate alignment among requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs.
- Deliver production-quality code, accurate project deliverables, technical documentation, and actionable review feedback.
Requirements
- 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or Go.
- Backend or full-stack experience with production systems.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- Ability to navigate and debug large, multi-file codebases.
- Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
- Advanced professional written proficiency in English.
- Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
