Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own vulnerability management, dependency security, and threat modeling.
- Strengthen AWS security posture and incident response capabilities.
- Design and implement security controls for AI-powered products.
- Build safeguards for PHI and sensitive data in LLM systems.
- Implement technical controls for HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance security across the organization.
- Create self-service security solutions and runbooks for engineers.
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT to deliver scalable security solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Security Engineering experience in application or infrastructure security.
- Strong expertise in AWS security and identity management.
- Hands-on software engineering experience in Ruby and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with technical controls in regulated environments like HIPAA.
- Fluency with AI and LLM-powered tools in engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of AI security concepts and data governance.
- Builder mindset with a focus on execution and problem-solving.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, product, and legal teams.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
