Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple development teams.
- Automate complete infrastructure deployments using CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Manage infrastructure scripts and templates in GitHub using git for version control.
- Manage AWS EC2 Elastic Load Balancers and auto-scaling groups.
- Configure AWS CloudWatch alarms, dashboards, and alerts.
- Manage files and permissions in AWS S3.
- Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines.
- Troubleshoot Linux systems and write Bash scripts.
- Assist security teams with implementing security controls and compliance measures.
- Monitor servers and infrastructure for issues.
- Set up and manage API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Kubernetes infrastructure as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Experience with AWS Elastic Load Balancers, auto-scaling groups, EC2, CloudWatch, S3, and CloudFormation.
- Experience building infrastructure as code with YAML-based AWS CloudFormation templates.
- Strong Linux troubleshooting and Bash scripting skills.
- Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Ansible for server automation.
- Strong knowledge of git and GitHub for infrastructure-as-code version control.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- AWS certification and experience with API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kubernetes, and multi-team environments are desired.
