Responsibilities
- Drive and evolve CI/CD infrastructure using GitHub Actions for TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake.
- Own and automate the end-to-end release process, including packaging in collaboration with the platform team.
- Design, implement, and execute stress-testing infrastructure and analyze results for regression signals.
- Build and maintain testing infrastructure to validate TimescaleDB performance and compatibility in cloud environments.
- Own and enhance benchmarking frameworks such as tsbench, including advanced features such as explain plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve release quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or in a similar role with end-to-end release process ownership.
- Deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions.
- Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience running PostgreSQL in production environments.
- Prior TimescaleDB experience is preferred.
- Basic Kubernetes knowledge is preferred.
