Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and enhance pricing tools across various platforms.
- Apply AGCS Hx Renew build and testing standards.
- Coordinate with third-party providers delivering supplementary development.
- Work with Pricing, Underwriting, and IT teams to understand requirements and integrate pricing tools into the AGCS IT landscape.
- Maintain and develop pricing tool design principles.
- Deliver peer-reviewed and comprehensively tested pricing updates.
- Build long-term working relationships with stakeholders and support collaboration across the Global Pricing team and AGCS departments.
Requirements
- At least two years of development experience, including design and build for production environments, with Python and/or Hx Renew, or a computer science background with procedural programming experience and willingness to learn Python.
- Familiarity with a range of Python and/or Hx Renew features and the ability to quickly learn new languages and approaches.
- Strong understanding of mathematical techniques; an actuarial background is advantageous.
- Experience in the insurance industry is strongly advantageous.
- Exposure to data visualization and/or user interface design is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, quality-control, communication, stakeholder-collaboration, and technical-to-nontechnical communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and virtual environment.
- Genuine interest in information technology and generative artificial intelligence is valuable.
