Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and enhance pricing tools across various platforms.
- Follow AGCS Hx Renew build and testing standards.
- Collaborate with third-party providers delivering supplementary development.
- Work with Pricing and Underwriting teams to understand and accurately deliver requirements.
- Integrate pricing tools with the AGCS IT landscape in collaboration with IT.
- Maintain and develop pricing tool design principles.
- Deliver peer-reviewed pricing updates with comprehensive testing and a strong focus on quality.
- Build long-term working relationships with stakeholders and support global collaboration across AGCS departments.
Requirements
- At least two years of development experience, including design and production builds, using Python and/or Hx Renew.
- Alternatively, a computer science background with procedural programming experience and demonstrated ability to learn new languages and approaches quickly.
- Strong understanding of mathematical techniques; an actuarial background is advantageous.
- Insurance industry experience is strongly preferred, while experience with data visualization or user-interface design is advantageous.
- Experience partnering with Pricing, Underwriting, and IT teams is advantageous.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences and work effectively in international or virtual environments.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, quality-control, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Genuine interest in Information Technology and Generative Artificial Intelligence is considered valuable.
