Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing, regression testing, edge-case testing, and UAT support for digital commerce applications.
- Design and execute API tests using Postman, Bruno, or Swagger, including validation of JSON/XML payloads, authentication, status codes, and error handling.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, including API automation.
- Validate data integrity and system state changes using SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Create and manage test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and defects in Jira throughout the defect lifecycle.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of quality assurance experience.
- Strong experience with end-to-end manual testing of digital commerce applications, including regression testing, edge cases, and UAT support.
- Strong knowledge of API testing with Postman, Bruno, or Swagger and validation of JSON/XML payloads, authentication, status codes, and error handling.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, including API automation.
- Knowledge of SQL-based data validation and experience with Oracle and MongoDB for transaction and data integrity validation.
- Experience managing test plans, test cases, scenarios, and defects in Jira.
- Understanding of B2B and B2C digital commerce platforms.
- Preferred: basic load and performance sanity testing experience, practical exposure to AI tools and LLMs, experience in complex digital commerce environments, and familiarity with combining manual and automated testing.
