Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual, functional, integration, regression, API, UI, performance, and automated tests.
- Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into test scenarios and validation coverage.
- Develop or maintain automated API, UI, integration, regression, and performance tests.
- Investigate defects and isolate issues across interfaces, APIs, services, databases, messaging, integrations, and external systems.
- Review requirements, test cases, implementation plans, and release readiness with product and engineering teams.
- Support release validation, production stabilization, root-cause analysis, and reusable quality practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in software testing, quality engineering, test automation, or a related application-delivery role.
- College degree, diploma, or equivalent post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Software Testing/Quality, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing functional, integration, regression, API, and/or UI tests.
- Experience documenting defects clearly and isolating issues across user-interface, service, integration, and data layers.
- Experience with test-automation tools, scripting, or frameworks is strongly useful.
- QA/testing, Agile, test-automation, cloud, or related certifications are beneficial but not required.
