Base Salary
$81k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and optimize backend services, REST APIs, and database solutions for healthcare payer operations.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, platform teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, estimate effort, and deliver features.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor team members, influence technical decisions, and drive engineering practices across distributed teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with Python and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with GitLab, CloudWatch, JUnit, and Mockito for CI/CD, monitoring, and software quality.
- Experience working in the healthcare payer domain.
- Experience with capitation platforms, payment models, healthcare claims solutions, Apache Spark, or large-scale data processing is preferred.
