Responsibilities

Define and evolve scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures.
Design end-to-end solutions integrating services, platforms, infrastructure, APIs, databases, and event-driven systems.
Lead the architecture and implementation of distributed, cloud-native, and AI-powered applications.
Design and deliver production-ready generative AI and agentic AI capabilities.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and architectural solutions.
Establish software engineering standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices.
Evaluate technologies, frameworks, tools, AI models, and engineering approaches.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship through architecture, design, and code reviews.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, architectural bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.
Ensure architecture aligns with security, performance, reliability, maintainability, and business objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
7+ years of professional software development experience, including software architecture for complex applications.
Experience delivering end-to-end software solutions from architecture and design through production deployment.
Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented software design principles.
Experience designing scalable, distributed, cloud-based software systems.
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, and system integration.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
Experience building applications on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with containerization, orchestration, microservices, event-driven systems, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability tools is preferred.
Experience designing agentic AI architectures, autonomous workflows, and AI-driven automation solutions is preferred.
Familiarity with AWS AgentCore, OpenAI Agents SDK, or equivalent technologies is preferred.
Experience with AI, machine learning, or data-intensive applications is an asset.
Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across development teams.
French-English bilingualism with full professional proficiency in both languages is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.

Competitive annual base salary of $111 308,33 - $155 435,00.
