Responsibilities
- Design complex end-to-end solutions integrating Cognite SaaS offerings with customer portfolios and target architectures.
- Map technical requirements and lead quality implementations with project, sales, delivery, data science, product, and technology teams.
- Select and design data visualization, transformation, modeling, contextualization, integration, monitoring, logging, and reporting solutions.
- Design integrations and data models using Cognite data connectors, SQL, Python, Java, and REST APIs.
- Advise customers and partners on Cognite Data Fusion and identify opportunities for product and feature improvements.
- Define operational responsibilities and support agreements for delivered solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an application or data engineer, solution or enterprise architect, or machine learning engineer.
- Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Hands-on Python experience and strong software development best-practices expertise.
- Experience with enterprise integration, customer relationships, or IT integration design.
- Data and analytics project experience with the ability to confidently lead an implementation.
- Experience with a public cloud, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure, including network security concepts, identity providers, and application hosting.
- Experience with operations, support, change control, and architecting centralized monitoring, logging, and reporting.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, deployment environments, data modeling, infrastructure solutions, data warehousing, and big data architectures.
- Experience in the heavy asset industry, including oil and gas, manufacturing, or pharmaceuticals, is required.
- Experience with operational data, customer business drivers, and consulting-based requirements negotiation is preferred.
