Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, review, and support software and services on cloud-hosted production infrastructure.
- Shape development and deployment practices through optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure and security technologies for resiliency, observability, and cost optimization.
- Define and implement automated service deployments covering networking, security, reliability, management, reporting, and configuration management.
- Participate in work planning, technology evaluation and selection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with varied audiences and share expertise to support team development.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for cloud-solution maintenance.
- Resolve customer deployment issues and collaborate with distributed teams.
Requirements
- Experience with scalable, distributed systems architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Go programming, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- In-depth understanding of deployment automation best practices and CI/CD processes.
- Experience using Git in a team environment, including pull requests, branching, pushes, and pulls.
- Experience with networking concepts including routing, naming, security, performance, and failure modes is advantageous.
- Understanding of identity and access management is advantageous.
- Experience with deployment instrumentation and management, CI/CD pipeline development, and customer deployment issue resolution is advantageous.
- Computer science degree or equivalent experience.
