Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products, intelligent agents, and agentic workflows using large language models, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, and tool-calling patterns.
- Architect agentic systems with planning, reasoning loops, memory management, grounding, evaluation, safety, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Move AI solutions from proof of concept to production by establishing reliability, observability, performance, security, governance, and cost-optimization practices.
- Build scalable services, APIs, analytical capabilities, AI applications, and developer productivity solutions using cloud platforms and data technologies.
- Serve as a hands-on contributor across software design, coding, testing, debugging, and production delivery.
- Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, technical decisions, tradeoff discussions, and execution across globally distributed engineering teams.
- Create reusable platforms, frameworks, accelerators, and engineering capabilities that improve developer productivity and delivery speed.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through design guidance, code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering scalable, high-performance, reliable software in an agile environment.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and building distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong experience with data-intensive applications and analytics platforms; Databricks, Spark, or PySpark experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience building and delivering enterprise AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, or generative AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of agentic AI architectures, workflow orchestration, reasoning frameworks, memory systems, grounding techniques, evaluation methodologies, and safety controls.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks, SDKs, orchestration platforms, vector databases, retrieval systems, and agent development tooling.
- Experience providing technical leadership, coordinating distributed engineering teams, mentoring engineers, and making architecture and design decisions.
