Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze engineering and business data to identify opportunities for AI/ML solutions.
- Develop core use-case functionality with guidance and increasing independence.
- Design and implement procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy solutions.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and other project deliverables.
- Lead small AI/ML projects under the supervision of the enterprise AI/ML engineering team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, and AI algorithms.
- At least 2 years of Python programming experience.
- Proficiency with VS Code or another programming IDE.
- Ability to learn company-specific software and code-assist tools quickly.
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, communication, organization, documentation, and ownership skills.
- Must be currently enrolled in school; applicants who have already graduated are not eligible.
Benefits
- Full-time internship requiring temporary relocation to the applicable Skyworks office location.
- Internship period is January through June or May/June through December 2027.
- Engineering interns receive a stated U.S. pay range of $26.00-$47.50 per hour, with actual pay depending on education, duties, requirements, and location.
